Our Kazakhstan Adoption

Hello, We are Joe and Steph - a couple with a young biological son who have made the decision to adopt a child from Kazakhstan. Joe also has a teenage daughter from a previous marriage. Rather than infertility, we are adopting "by choice". We made this decision after much thought and research. There are so many children in the world that need a loving home. We hope this blog will keep our friends/family informed of our progress along the way!

Home 3 months

It's now been 3 months - boy does time fly! Brogan does better each day. His "night terrors" seem to be subsiding almost entirely. He is still biting, but it seems that is less also. He just seems more relaxed and happy most of the time now. He will be 18 months old in a couple of more weeks and should be walking on his own very soon!

My husband and I adopted a little boy from Kaz about the same time you adopted Brogan (who is a real cutie by the way). Our son, Dmitri, has had similar issues with biting and night terrors. The biting has stopped completely and the night terrors are almost gone.

Hey Steph!!! I am glad Brogan is doing so well. He sure has gained the weight now that you have him home!!! He is really cute and very lucky to have you and Joe and Bryson for his family. Speaking of Bryson, he is getting so big!! Sometimes I think he and Brock favor just a little depending on how they are posing. Take care!!!!
